Nature of Photography
Photographers produce and preserve images that paint a picture, tell a story, or record an event. To create commercial quality photographs, photographers need both technical expertise and creativity. Producing a successful picture requires choosing and presenting a subject to achieve a particular effect and selecting the appropriate equipment. For example, photographers may enhance the subject’s appearance with lighting or draw attention to a particular aspect of the subject by blurring the background.

What is Photography all about?
Photography is all about expressing emotions, feelings, capturing special moments, most of all making life memorable and enjoyable. Photographers are always capturing pictures of things that mean something to them. There is always a story behind every picture someone takes, whether it is meaningful or just for looks and fun.
When Did It Begin? How Did It Begin?
It began in the 1830's. Before photography was created, people already knew the principles of how it eventually got to work. They could process the image on the wall or piece of paper, however no printing was possible at the time as preserving light turned out to be a lot harder task than projecting it. The instrument that people used for processing pictures was called the Camera Obscura (which is Latin for the Dark Room) and it was around for a few centuries before photography came along.
How will it change in the near future?
The only thing that will change in the near future is the cameras. The newer the camera, the better the iso and quality.
How will technology influence your career? Will there be a growth or decline in job opportunities in the career?
It will allow me to tweak pictures to make them look better. I can make them look a lot different.
There will possibly be a decline in job opportunities if you do not have your own camera, or photography items.
